This Statement About HONOR ID and Privacy (hereinafter the "Statement") applies to you for your registration, login and use of HONOR ID, which is a basic functionality service provided by Honor Technologies Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "we", "us", or "our").HONOR ID will help you better utilize your device and enjoy a convenient and fast experience. We take your personal information and privacy seriously and are committed to taking appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information in accordance with relevant laws and established industry security standards.

1 What Data Do We Collect About You?
In HONOR ID, we shall collect and use your personal data only for the purposes stated in this Statement. Personal data refers to any data that enables us to identify you as a user.
We will collect and process the following data:
•Account information, including phone number, email address, security email address, security phone number, emergency contacts' phone number and name, password, date of birth, name (first and last name), service and registration country/region, account identifier, profile picture, nickname, gender, customer relationship management related data, customer correspondence and contact records, direct marketing and other consents and withdrawals, automatic SMS code information, security events (e.g. password changes, account deletions, account freezing, and indications that your account is at risk of being hijacked) as well as user agreement information.
•Device information, including device identifier (IMEI or UDID, depending on your device system version), serial number, country/region code, language setting, device type and name, version number, operating system and ROM version.
•Service usage and network information, including IP address, IMSI, registration log, login/logout, time stamps of usage activities (including how you open and close push notifications sent by us), account modification, and how the device is moving during account registration and login.
•Feedback information, including the problem description, suggestion and the log you submit in this service. The problem description and suggestion you submit can not identify you except online chat support, we strongly suggest you not submit any personal information in the description and suggestion.
•Customer service information, including the record of your HONOR Support Query by hotline, email, web chat, web form except HONOR ID services.
If you log in to HONOR ID with a non-Honor account such as Google or others, the following data shall be obtained:
•Third-party account information, including account identifier, email address, nickname, profile picture, and date of birth.
If you visit the HONOR ID web portal, the following data shall be collected:
•Browser network and usage information, including data stored by cookies (such as your session ID, login status, country/region of the HONOR ID account, page style settings, CAPTCHA code and status, the random identifier of your browser, encrypted account user name), IP address, mouse and keyboard activities on the page, browser type, time zone, language and font. The processing of your mouse and keyboard inputs is done for the purpose of account security and CAPTCHA to test whether the browser is operated by a robot or a human.
To provide you with the service, HONOR ID requires Internet access and the permissions to access the SMS to obtain verification codes. The Storage and Camera permissions are required to upload or change your profile picture, and the Contacts permission is required to add/invite or update emergency contacts. You can manage the permissions by going to Settings > Apps > Apps > Show system processes > HONOR ID > Permissions on your mobile device.
2 How Do We Use Your Data?
In order to provide you with the HONOR ID services, as well as to fulfill our contractual obligations, we will process and use your personal data for the following purposes:
•You can create and use your HONOR ID. We will also use the provided date of birth to determine the age of the account holder and to determine the appropriate services. Completing your account information will help us to provide you with better services and experience.
•You can quickly sign in to your HONOR ID by binding it with other third-party accounts, such as Google, Facebook, Twitter. Your nickname and profile picture for third-party accounts may be re-used as the nickname and profile picture of your HONOR ID.
•When you sign in to your HONOR ID on your device, a quick or automatic sign-in as described in Section 4 will be enabled on the other value-added services (such as HONOR Club, HONOR Store, Honor Choice, and My HONOR) operated by Honor Technologies Co. Ltd. and Honor companies. Your HONOR ID information will be used by these services.
•In order to send you a notification message, we will process your device information.
•Analytics and development purposes, including creating aggregated groups based on your usage activities. This also enables us to understand our users' needs as customers and improve the quality and user experience of our current and future services and offerings. You can object to such data processing as described in Section 5.6 below.
•Marketing purposes, including communicating with you about our offerings, conducting sales promotions and other marketing campaigns, as well as creating aggregated target groups for marketing. Knowing customers' preferences enables us to target our offerings and provide products and services that better meet the needs and expectations of our customers. You can object to such data processing as described in Section 5.6 below.
We may send you electronic direct marketing, such as newsletters, promotions about new products, as well as information about user surveys and trials by email, text message, multimedia message, and push notification when you have given prior consent for such communications. The communications may include information about any Honor products and services across all Honor brands. You can withdraw your consent at any time by going to Settings > Account center > Privacy center > Subscriptions on your mobile device. You may also choose different communication channels based on your preferences from the same settings. In addition, you can access these privacy center settings from the HONOR ID web portal.
•Information security and fraud prevention, including detecting or preventing various types of misuse of services and fraud in order to provide you with secure and reliable services.
•We may need your phone number already provided during the initial steps of HONOR ID account registration in order to safeguard HONOR ID accounts and our systems.
•We analyze your device information, service usage, and network information in order to detect and prevent fraudulent account registration and login (e.g. an attacker using automatic software to register accounts).
•We check the content of your profile picture and nickname, and may prohibit content that is hateful, violent and/or extremist, pornographic and sexually explicit, cruel, racist, or discriminatory to prevent our users from seeing such content.
•Support and communication, including live chat support and complaint handling. We will process your feedback information and customer service information. And for problem diagnosis, we will process the log you submit and your HONOR ID information.
•In addition, we will process and use your personal data for customer relationship management, support and communication, customer complaint handling, maintenance, software and system updates, problem diagnosis, and repair purposes.
The services and the feature of the services may vary depending on your device model but will not exceed the scope described in this Statement.
3 How Do We Store Your Data?
We will retain your personal data for no longer than necessary for the purposes defined in this Statement.
We will process and retain your data for the duration of the customer relationship. When you delete your HONOR ID, personal data related to your account and associated services will be erased. However, we shall retain the following data:
•Personal data processed for online chat support records will be retained for up to six (6) months from the last interaction. And the problem description, suggestion and the log you submit except online chat support will be retained for three (3) years from the data of collection
•Personal data processed for data subject requests will be retained for up to six (6) years from the date of your last interaction with us.
•Personal data processed for contract management will be retained for three (3) years from deletion of your HONOR ID.
•Personal data processed for analytics and development purposes as well as for sales promotion and marketing purposes for up to twelve (12) months from the date of collection, unless you object to such processing.
•Personal data processed for notification will be anonymized when you log out of your HONOR ID.
•Data backups and app logs processed to ensure the security of your data and services for up to six (6) months from the date they were created.
•If you have inputted your email for HONOR ID account creation, but never finalized the creation of the account, the email address will be deleted from our server in three (3) days from sending the email confirmation to you.
Once the retention period expires, we will delete or anonymize your personal data, unless otherwise required by laws and regulations.
4 How Do We Share Your Data?
We store your data in the Russian Federation.
We may share your data in the following circumstances:
4.1 Sharing with/Entrusting service providers

•Our third-party vendors, who provide us with IT (including cloud computing) may need to process your personal information. Our third-party vendors in Singapore and Germany, who provide us with Email service, SMS, information security, and fraud prevention may need to process your personal information. All such third parties are operating under contract and acting on behalf of us and located in the Russian Federation (unless stated otherwise in this Statement).
4.2 Sharing within/Entrusting HONOR companies
•Our maintenance operations and customer care services including customer complaint handling may require us to access your data from China.
•In order to ensure the global uniqueness of your HONOR ID and allow you to use your HONOR ID wherever you are, we transfer your unique HONOR ID number and pseudonymized (hashed) phone number or email address to HONOR ID sites in China, Germany, the Russian Federation, and Malaysia, which is operated by Honor companies under contract and acting on behalf of us.
•If you are using services by logging in with HONOR ID when you are traveling outside of Russian Federation, your HONOR ID information may be routed through the local site of an Honor company operating under contract and acting on behalf of us.
4.3 If you log in to third-party (including HONOR affiliate companies) website or app, based on your consent, your profile information will be disclosed to the third party which may by located outside of Russian Federation. If you authorize a third party service to access your data, please familiarize yourself with the data you are authorizing them to access as well as the third party’s privacy policy made available to you during authorization.
5 What Are Your Rights and Options?
You have the following data subject rights and options regarding your personal data:
5.1 Right of access:
You can request a confirmation as to whether or not personal data about you is processed and you can, where applicable, receive a copy of personal data we process about you.
How to exercise your rights:
•You can request your personal data, which you have provided to us in relation to HONOR ID by going to Settings > Account center > Privacy center.
5.2 Right of rectification:
You can have your inaccurate data corrected and incomplete data completed.
How to exercise your rights:
•In order to keep your data up-to-date and accurate, you can access and modify your data by going to Settings > Account center on your device.
5.3 Right of portability:
You can receive certain data that you have provided to us in a machine-readable format.
How to exercise your rights:
•You can request your personal data, which you have provided to us in relation to HONOR ID by going to Settings > Account center > Privacy center.
5.4 Right of erasure(Right to be forgotten):
You can have your data erased under certain conditions.
How to exercise your rights:
•Remove your data associated with HONOR ID which is voluntary for the use of HONOR ID, such as nickname, profile picture, security email, and security phone number.
•Delete your HONOR ID by going to Settings > Account center > Privacy center > Delete account on your device. As a result, your personal data will be erased, including your personal data in other services which are linked with your HONOR ID. You can also access these privacy center settings from the HONOR ID web portal.
•Object to the processing of your data, as detailed in Section 5.6. As a result, we shall erase the data that falls within the scope of your valid objection if we no longer have a legal basis to continue processing the data.
•Contact us if you think the processing of your personal data is unlawful and your data should be erased.
•We will erase or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period of time based on your aforementioned actions and in accordance with the retention periods detailed in Section 3.
5.5 Withdraw your consent:
You can withdraw consents to the processing of certain personal data based on your consents.
How to exercise your rights:
•If you have opted to receive electronic direct marketing from us, you can withdraw your consent by going to Settings > Account center > Privacy center > Subscriptions on your device. You can also access these privacy center settings from the HONOR ID web portal.
5.6 Object to processing:
You can object to the processing of your data for certain purposes such as direct marketing.
How to exercise your rights:
•If you want to object to the processing of your data for analytics, development, or sales and marketing purposes, please contact us.
•When making the request, please specify the scope of the request and provide us with the email address or phone number that you used to log in to your HONOR ID. We will contact you to verify your identity in order to proceed with your request.
5.7 Right to restrict processing:
You can restrict the processing of your personal data under certain conditions.
How to exercise your rights:
•You have the right to restrict the processing of your data in the following circumstances:
1 Your data is unlawfully processed, but you do not want to erase it.
2 You have a legal claim that you need to establish, exercise, or defend, and you have requested us to keep your data when we would not keep it otherwise.
3 Your request for objection is pending our verification.
4 You have contested the accuracy of your personal data and the accuracy of your data is pending our verification.
•For other requests related to the restriction of data processing, please contact us. When making the request, please specify the scope and the grounds for the request and provide us with the email address or mobile phone number that you used to log in to your Honor ID. We will contact you to verify your identity in order to proceed with your request.
6 What Permissions Do We Use?
The following permissions are required when you use HONOR ID on mobile devices such as phones and tablets:
Phone (device information): This permission is required to obtain your device identifier so you can log in to your HONOR ID. Your account security may be affected if you revoke this permission.
Messaging: This permission is required to automatically read and fill in SMS verification codes for verifying your identity (while you can choose to fill them in manually instead).
Storage: Storage permission is required to store essential app configuration files and read the content you need to upload.
Camera: This permission is required for you to take photos to change your profile picture. You can choose to grant or revoke this permission.
Contacts: This permission is required for you to select contacts from the Contacts app to specify emergency contacts(while you can choose to fill them in manually instead).
Notifications: This permission is required to show messages on notification panel.
7 How Do You Contact Us?
If you need to exercise your privacy rights, lodge a complaint, or consult with our data protection officer (DPO) about privacy protection, please contact us, we will reply as soon as possible.

8 How Do We Update This Statement?
We encourage you to regularly check for the latest version of this Statement in the app settings as we may update it from time to time. In the event of material changes to this Statement, we will notify you by notification dialogs, push messages, emails, etc., depending on the nature of the change.
